Kentuck ORV Trail - Talladega National Forrest - Munford, AL

Zoom In Detail:

From Muscle Shoals - Get to I-65 as best you can

Turn Right on I-65 to Birmingham

Turn Left on I-20 to Atlanta - 61 miles

Exit 185 (Oxford, AL) Turn Right(South) on Hwy 21 towards Munford

Go 2.7 miles - Turn left (South East) on Buckhorn Road.
(Left turn is just before the BP gas station on the right) (If you miss Buckhorn, you can also turn left on McIntosh Road a little farther down)

Buckhorn dead-ends into McIntosh Road. Turn Left (East).

Turn Right (South) on Kentuck Road.
(Look for small KENTUCK ORV Trail sign on your left as well). This is a rough paved road that turns to gravel.

Turn Right (West) at the next KENTUCK ORV Trail sign ( Road 643 ). Go 2.2 miles.

Turn Left into Parking Area. (643 C)

Description:
Kentuck is a nice ORV area with 23.5 miles of trails. They are a series of fast trails with frequent turns and jumps combined with steep up/down hills as well as a number of stream crossings. Travel is Two-way, so watch out for fast oncoming traffic!
Helmets are required at this riding area.
Fee Use area : $5 admission per ATV

Recreation:
Recreational activities include hiking, biking, ATV and motorcycle riding.

Location:
Located about 1 hour east of Birmingham and 1.5 hours west of Atlanta.
