We had the annual Club Meeting Jan 28th at Maxwells Steak House in Muscle Shoals. As usual, the food was great and the company was better. Turnout was light given the size of our club, but we still managed to completely fill the back room - around 72 folks I think. Once again, a fine gentleman named Tony Kirk was elected President and I believe he has choosen to retain our outstanding VP Ralph Berryman, and the awesome group of Trail Guides from last year. Of course, none other than Butch Whitehead is Club Secretary (along with assistance from the lovely Mrs Norma Whitehead whom we all very much apprieciate - SOMEONE has to keep Butch straight! :-D). The Web-site crew is still the same scruffy-looking bunch of hoodlums. Prizes were won by everyone in the room but maybe two people. If we ever get the whole club in one place - it might have to be the field at the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. I hope 2006 is a wonderful year for each and every member of the club and that we continue to enjoy safe, good rides and continue to somehow find the finest people in the south to join our club. I look forward to continuing to support our community and charities and hope everyone will take a moment of rememberance of why the club was founded and why we ride, and to be thankful that we can. We hope to see each and every one of you on the trails !
