Turn out for the Marengo Swamp Ride -- GREAT!!!!!! 44+ riders made the trip, and a long trip it was!! Not as much mud as in the past, but it was plenty for the first timers!! Comfort Suits assured us next year we will have the gravy and biscuits Saturday morning, as we did Sunday morning. Other that that little mistake, they treated us with the up-most hospitality - - With the exception of Tony having the flat tire on his truck, no other break-downs were reported -- Firestone Tires on Pecanland Mall Drive repaired the tire for no charge -- any auto trouble of any kind, next trip, we know where to take our business!!!! Thanks Charlie Hill (Firestone employee) - wish you were in good-ol Alabama!!!! Again, Betty Clark (Comfort Suites employee) - "Thank you". See you all next year.....

If you missed it this year, you can plan for next!! First Saturday in June of every year, I know, for the last 7, I've been there!!!! Just a few "facts & figures" -- money raised for this years ride, $55,000 (net) -- 4-wheelers registered in advance (paid) - 3,204 -- people counted entering the management area - 5,873(riders & passengers). May I suggest, start planning for 2004, see you there......It is for a good cause!!!!
