Well another great weekend of riding with the Shoals ATV Riders! This time at Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky. We had a great turn out with 33 ATV's with our club on the trails. The weather was great and the trails couldn't have been in any better shape. LBL had mud and water for the ones that wanted it, ain't that right Lisa, Johnny,Ken and Steve. Well I also got stuck, I
couldn't stand all the fun I saw everyone was having on Friday so I had to get off in some mud also. Johnny put his Honda
to the water test but I think he had read the book for testing Submarines. I want to say thanks to Dennis for setting up the
rides at LBL. Roy did you get your malfunction fixed? These ride seem to put our ATV's to the test. The Shoals ATV members
don't just ride the trails they seen to like to push it a little past the limits. But Man ain't it Fun!!! Ken couldn't stay out of the creeks.
He was worst than my 10 year old about wanting to get wet and muddy. Also we enjoyed having Mr. Paul Holloway and his family
on the ride. We hope to see yall on many more rides. We had to split up into groups so I don't know what went on in the other groups
but I can assure you it was a lot of hill climbing mud slinging creek riding and trails being ridden. Tony thanks for keeping the club
going and giving out all the good info at the start of the ride.

The annual LBL club ride was a huge success!! 40 members as well as guests enjoyed a well organized ride with lasting memories....We rode Friday and Satrday.....the weather, the trails, the hotel, and the food -- perfect!!!! The club's mud-puppy for this club ride had to be, Connie Stutts......Yes, a complimentary mudbath she did receive from Turkey Bay -- Free of charge! However, if second place was in store, I guess I earned it!!! A few notes -- Next ride, ask Roy Peden why he did not pay for his supper!? Illness has plagued Dianne Bratcher for awhile, but she's back on the trails with full speed now, and we're all glad to see her!!! Steve, Lisa, Johny, & Ashley all had the appropriate safety riding gear......after Lisa tested the water, I think they all realized they needed a life jacket..... That lesson was well earned!!! Thank You to Dennis White for the well organized event! Without members involved such as Dennis, club rides wouldn't happen.....Members, make as many rides as possible, what you put in your club, is what you willbenefit from your club!!!!!
